Comments: Don't let my name fool you. I'm an avid hockey fan. I breathe the stuff. So when a teacher of mine recommended a book of hockey short stories to me, I gladly bought the book. First off, I have brothers who play hockey, so I get a secondhand experience of what it is like. For all I know, this book captures the experiences quite well. Sometimes I wish there were more hockey technicalities in the book, more game strategy, but it's still quite enjoyable. And highly amusing. I especially like the first and last stories in his book. Some of his stories, though, fall into the cliche. Nice cliches if you like hockey, but still cliches. That can get annoying. His sense of humor mostly redeems that, though. If you're a fellow hockey lover, I'd recommend this book. And the book has an awesome cover. Just saying.
