Over the past decade, classical Christian education has blossomed into a nationwide movement. Concerned by the poor standards and outright miseducation provided in public schools, parents and teachers have returned to the tried-and-true methods of past generations. Comments: I give this a rating of 3 in the overall quality category only because the recording quality was not good. Other than that, this is an excellent overview of the priorities a parent should have when tackling the immense God-given task of "enculturating" their children. The first of the four CDs is dedicated to laying the foundation of what a classical Christian education is and Dr. Stokes does a good job of being in-depth without going over your head.
