A student who has mastered the material in The Natural World will have also built up basic English and Latin vocabulary in anatomy, botany, and zoology, and will be much better prepared to read classical Roman literature.

Timothy Griffith is a fellow of Classical Languages at New Saint Andrews College, where he teaches Latin, Roman literature, and language pedagogy. He is director of the Phaedrus Latin Composition Contest for high school age students. He received his M.A. in Classical Languages from the University of Kentucky, and is currently pursuing his doctorate in classics with the University of Florida. He and his wife Casey live in Moscow, Idaho and have four children.

Comments: This is very easy to use and accessible even for beginning Latin students/teachers. The pictures are fun and simple, and the Latin is excellent quality. It has no exercises so it is up to the teacher to develop these and it would be nice for the classroom if the pictures were either digitally available or on transperancies for a projector
