Among Christian colleges and universities, New Saint Andrews has led the revival of the “classical Christian liberal arts” approach to higher education. It’s the same education that shaped many of the founders of our country and defined higher education a little more than a century ago.
Logos School opened its doors in September of 1981. Their goal is to provide high-quality, Classical and Christ-centered Education.
ACCS grew out of the national response to a book published in 1991 entitled Recovering the Lost Tools of Learning by Douglas Wilson. This book described the educational philosophy instituted by Logos School in Moscow, ID - the philosophy being an attempt to follow the pattern set down by Dorothy Sayers in her essay "The Lost Tools of Learning". The overwhelming response to the publication of this book made it apparent that an association would have to be formed to handle all the requests for help and information. The new association began to host national conferences, giving rise to even more interest, and has steadily grown.

Rachel Hoffmann studied Graphic Design (and Spanish) at the University of Idaho, graduating Suma Cum Laude in 2007. As a student, she was a recipient of the Liberace scholarship award, and her poster design was chosen for the 2007 Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival. After two years of freelancing and working at Canon Press, she needed an orange place to call her own, and the Orange Peal Design Studio was born, opening its doors on Main Street in downtown Moscow, Idaho in 2009. She has professional experience in everything from web and print advertising to magazine layout, brochure design, and wedding invitations. There’s not a lot that she hasn’t done, and even less that she can’t do. Rachel has designed many of Canon's book covers and she does our print advertising. We love Rachel!
